Osaka's First Modern Japanese-style Hotel
The Four Seasons Hotel Osaka will offer the first modern luxury accommodation with a traditional Japanese stay experience. Traditional Japanese inns (Ryokan) go back as far as the 8th century and continue to be popular, particularly in areas with hot springs. The 28th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Osaka, the Gensui level, has 21 rooms and suites designed by SIMPLICITY. It includes tatamis, sliding doors in each room, platform beds, and dining areas with traditional and standard seating - all contemporary interpretations of Japanese culture. The Gensui level also features its own separate front desk for a personalized welcome.
The hotel consists of 175 rooms and suites in total. In addition to the 21 Japanese-style rooms on the 28th floor, there are 154 rooms and suites on floors 29 to 35, designed by Japanese firm CURIOSITY. These rooms feature large, airy windows, most with a carefully arranged window seat, to enjoy the picturesque view of the water metropolis. The hotel rooms and public spaces will display contemporary art collections curated by Fumio Nanjo, with all creators being local artisans and artists.
